DIY~ "NeckLush" Recreation!

Hello Fashionistas!
Today I have a VERY exciting new blog post for you all! In today's blog post I will be showing you my "recreation" of the "NeckLush". You can click on this website http://shop.necklush.com/  to view the original "Necklushes". I just thought, it would be a cool craft to try and "recreate" the "NeckLush" myself. I decided to take pictures along the way, so you can see how I created my own...

I went out to my local "Goodwill" thrift store, and purchased a few X-large men's t-shirts. These t-shirt honestly only costs me a few dollars.

<--- As you can see in the picture on the left I took a pair of scissors and starting from the bottom I cut my Orange t-shirt into long strips, horizontally.

---> This is what you should end up with once you have cut your t-shirt into long strips, all the way up until you reach the "armpit" area of the t-shirt.

Next, I took each strip and tugged on it, until it started to curl like the strip shown on the right side in the picture. I did this to ALL of the strips.

As shown in the picture on the right --->
This is how I attached everything... I gathered up all of my strips and I cut a smaller yet, thicker strip from the t-shirt and wrapped that around all of the strips, then I just made a cute little bow on the top to add some style.

This is the finished result. You can see I also made two other ones in different colours. I absolutely LOVE them and it was a pretty simple, yet fun craft to do!

Here are just a FEW images of the ORIGINAL "NECKLUSHES"!

I LOVE the multi-coloured one!**NO COPYRIGHT INTENDED!! ALL PICTURES OF "ORIGINAL" "NECKLUSHES" WERE TAKEN FROM THEIR SITE: http://shop.necklush.com/
