Pastels. Doesn't that word just make you think of the Springtime? I envision the flowers coming back in bloom, birds chirping, the sun shining... but most of all the bright & soft colours of Spring! A big trend in the fashion and beauty world for this Spring/Summer is pastels. You are going to see these soft colours everywhere, from clothing items to makeup.
I am certainly a fan of this trend as it is soft and beautiful for the Springtime. If you don't already have at least one pastel coloured clothing item in your closet for the Spring... then you should definitely jump on the bandwagon and hit the mall in search of something pastel for your Spring wardrobe!
However, if you aren't personally a fan of pastel clothing (which some people aren't & I understand that) then try taking small steps to incorporate pastels into your life by starting with something like a soft coral or light pink lipstick. It will brighten up your complexion, but isn't going to be as overwhelming like a bright coloured lipstick might be. This is a great way to start off with the pastel trend if you aren't willing to jump right into wearing pastel clothing just yet. :) I hope this post was inspiring to you, and maybe makes you want to try out the pastel trend?
