DIY~ Ripped Jeans!! ( Four Easy Steps!)

Hello Fashionistas!
I have a fun and exciting post for you today! Today I am showing you how to make your own pair of ripped jeans! I have seen many celebrities sporting this trend, and I think it's very edgy & stylish! Check out a previous DIY post that I did HERE!

Selena Gomez, Kim Kardashian, Vanessa Hudgens.

You will need:
An old pair of jeans, scissors, & tweezers! (I wouldn't recommend using your best tweezers for this!)

Step #1

Cut out the shape/size that you want your rip to be!

Step #2
At the bottom of your "rip" use your tweezers to pull out the little strands of thread. (Shown in the photo)

This is just a photo of the strands of thread I pulled out!

Step #3
Now it's time to make the "rip" look more distressed! Take your tweezers and tug around the "rip" so that you have some strands sticking out all around the "rip". This makes it a little more messy & real
looking!

Step #4
If you have too much extra treads sticking out all over the place, take your scissors and just cut it off. (*But not too much, you still want your "rip" to look as distressed as possible!)

This is what my first "rip" looked like after I was completely done making it! What do you think?
I went on and made more "rips" all over my jeans! I also made some holes at the knees! (Keep in mind you can make as many or as little rips as you want, it's all about what you like!)
Here is a photo of my completed "ripped jeans", and what they actually look like on!

I hope you enjoyed this post, and maybe you will try it out? Let me know if you'd like to see more DIY posts like this one!?

This is cool! Definitely something to try on an old pair of jeans you are not quite ready to donate.
